The wire came out of the wire guard on the volume and mic on/off module and has frayed top the point of non function. to be honest i could probably splice it back in for the cost of a few centimetres of wire if i had the time but exams are approaching so its probably best not to have the distraction

I'm with ya on that, well once your exams and shit are over you can always pick up a cheap set from whatever your local version of Walmart is (Walmart probably) for cheap. The headset I've been using for the last couple years cost me $10 plus tax and I sound good enough to get all the bitches.
